How hard is it to simply Be. To awaken everyday calmly, acknowledging that we Are and allowing ourselves to purposefully Be. To find purpose in our words, actions and thoughts and not just carrying out our lives as an endless battle to gain. Gain what? Many of us hardly know. We just know that society dictates certain actions and accomplishments and we struggle hard to achieve those. But what do we learn from all this?

Take a moment to close your eyes and feel the energy within you, the energy around you. Take a deep breath and tune your ears to the softest sounds that are there to be heard but are often ignored.

Each of us has a purpose in this life. Rarely do many of us understand or realize this, even as we breathe our last breath in this human body. Our role in this Play of Life may be small but it could be absolutely essential for the foundation of greater things to unfold.

A stone on a beach can become a Lingam. A stone that has been lodged under so many other rocks, washed and weathered by the waves can fulfill a destiny of being a symbol of Prayer, Devotion and the Divinity of Lord Shiva. Imagine a little stone that has sat there for hundreds maybe thousands of years, that has been walked on and ignored, that nobody even knew existed can have such a great Purpose.

So Who are We? If a little stone can be that instrumental, Who are We?

Reflect and understand. Realize. Be Patient. Don’t waste this journey on the material, the physical and negative. Be a Purpose.

Om Shanti.

Hanuman Chalisa - Krishna Das.

His voice is pure beauty in this version.

Jai Shri Hanuman

There is nothing to gain. Abandon all imaginings and know yourself as you are. Self-knowledge is detachment. All craving is due to a sense of insufficiency. When you know that you lack nothing, that all there is, is you and yours, desire ceases.

—Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj (via lazyyogi)

How do you let go of attachments to things? Don’t even try. It’s impossible. Attachment to things drops away by itself when you no longer seek to find yourself in them.

—Eckhart Tolle (via lazyyogi)

Jai Jagdambe - Krishna Das.
